In a dramatic twist, the excitement surrounding the award was underscored by the landfall of Typhoon Carina, which wreaked havoc across the metro, resulting in severe flooding. As the storm unleashed its fury, Dr. Cristobal and Webmaster Rod Villanueva faced the extraordinary challenge of navigating through the tempest to attend the PRC interview crucial for their bid.

Against all odds, and with the city in turmoil, their determination shone through. The CCBI emerged as one of the six distinguished recipients out of 46 disciplines, proving their mettle as the smallest yet formidable group in Category B. This recognition is not just an accolade but a beacon of hope, showcasing that even in the face of adversity, the spirit of perseverance and excellence prevails.

The CCBI’s journey to this recognition has been a testament to their resilience and the invaluable contributions of every member. As the floodwaters recede and the storm abates, the Chamber of Customs Brokers Inc. stands tall, honored, and more determined than ever to continue its legacy of professionalism and excellence.
