About PCCBI Who We Are?

The Philippine Chamber of Customs Brokers Inc. (PCCBI) serves as the premier national entity representing customs brokers in the Philippines. Established on November 13, 1991, it is duly registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission. PCCBI operates as a unified professional association of customs brokers, holding accreditation from both the Professional Regulatory Commission and the Professional Regulatory Board of the Customs Broker Profession. Its recognition and authority stem from compliance with the stipulations outlined in Article IV, Section 31 of Republic Act No. 9280, commonly referred to as the Customs Broker Act of 2004.

We will be working closely with our fellow officers, directors, as well as with the members of the organization, to achieve our common goals and objectives. Therefore, it is essential that we establish open lines of communication, respect each other’s opinions, and work together to find the best solutions for any challenges that may arise, with our enhanced website soon to be launch we will make sure that PCCBI will be a smartphone away to all its members and stakeholders.

The Statements

The mission statement communicates the purpose of our organization. Our vision statement provides insight into what the organization hopes to achieve or become in the future. The values statement reflects the organization's core principles and ethics.

The chamber cares about most

It provides a common purpose that all employees should understand, work towards and live by. Our values provide the guidance of our organization to reach the ultimate goal. Without strong and defined values, a mission or vision is not possible because there are no individual steps to provide guidance.

The PCCBI and Customs Brokers

With a membership exceeding 15,000 Customs Brokers, PCCBI comprises individuals duly registered with the Professional Regulation Commission. These members primarily engage in various capacities within the customs industry, including ownership or partnership in customs and logistics businesses, provision of brokerage services, and employment within government agencies such as the Bureau of Customs, Department of Finance, and Legislative Offices of the Department of Trade and Industry. Additionally, they work in private firms involved in international trade, import-export, and logistics. Some also hold esteemed positions in academia, imparting knowledge on Customs and Tariffs subjects at higher education institutions offering a Bachelor of Science in Customs Administration.
